In
psychotherapy, "negative thought forms" is a term often used for
different environmental situations in a person's life that has brought
on negative results and thinking patterns. Negative thought forms can
be thought patterns that were created early in life by a parent who
regularly said such things as, “you will never amount to anything,”
over and over. It can also be thought processes created by traumatic
experiences, extended bouts of depression, and more. These sorts of
repeated thought patterns become ingrained in the mind and can lead to
a life-long struggle of rewiring the mind to no longer believe these
negative thought forms.
In paranormal investigation, the mental stability and thought process
of a client is crucial to deciphering the basis of paranormal
experiences. Thus, negative thought forms should be considered when
trying to understand the clues regarding Malevolent Inhuman Spirits
(MIS). A Malevolent Inhuman Spirit is often described as a "demon;" a
being full of anger that doesn't allow any rest for the person to whom
it is attached. MIS’s have been reported to throw things, physically
attack a person, or generally make the home a miserable place to be.
However, are we giving this entity too much credit? Is it even an
intelligent entity at all, or merely a stringing together of odd
happenings?
It is said that orbs of collected energy exist all around us; the
ability of a person to change their health, the feelings of others,
and the outcome of their lives through positive energy output seems to
be widely accepted. Then, why not give the same acceptance to a
person's ability to do the opposite, that is, to affect their lives
through negative energy output? Is it not plausible that a person's
negative energy output can create the phenomenon that is often labeled
as a malevolent spirit?
A phenomenon that comes to mind in considering this is the Stigmata,
or the apparent blistering and bleeding of people on their hands and
feet echoing the injuries Jesus suffered at the crucifixion. This
phenomenon interests me for two reasons: First, because it seems to
only occur to Christian believers; and second, the injuries are often
physically misplaced, i.e., the sufferers often have bleeding blisters
on their palms when, in fact, most scholars agree that crucifixion
practice was for the nails to be put through the wrists as the hands
would not be able to support the weight of the body. If that "mistake"
is so often made, then it is reasonable to consider that these
"spontaneous" attacks are neither attacks nor spontaneous, but are
created by the beliefs and therefore the mind of the sufferer. They
have apparently harnessed such ability over their mental energy that
they actually create the injuries to themselves using negative thought
forms.
Thus, can it not be reasonably concluded that a sufferer of MIS
activity may be creating it themselves psychokinetically? If they are
scratched or if things are being moved, etc., the power of their
thoughts and beliefs certainly seem to be a reasonable explanation. It
would also explain the common belief that negativity "feeds" an MIS.
In this case, that would certainly seem to be true—not as a result of
an outside intelligent being; but instead, as a manifestation of the
sufferer's own negative energy.
As a psychic, I can feel the effects of an MIS situation almost
immediately, and so do people who believe they are not psychic. The
difference is that I’ve come to know how to identify it, while someone
not sensitive to their abilities may simply feel sad, bored or may get
a feeling that something just "isn't right."
Since I have seen this sort of entity as a physical form in my mind's
eye who reacts to and speaks with me, it may seem odd that I believe
in my aforementioned MIS explanation. However, I'm always questioning
my psychic ability and the psychic experiences of others. I do
consider that my "seeing" an MIS may be simply my human brain's
ability to personify the negative energy collection I'm feeling and
then manipulate it in a manner to which I can relate. In other words,
it is my own personification of energy being presented in such a way
so that I can understand it, just like God may be illustrated as a man
with a long white beard on a gold thrown in the clouds. When you ask
someone who believes in God about it, most will say that's not REALLY
how God is; it is just an image that has been created to feel closer
to Him, to personify Him, to make Him feel more human when He is not
human at all. This personification of God’s energy seems no different
than my method of personifying MIS energy.
There are many explanations for MIS activity and there should be a
continued investigation into the psychological and scientific
explanations for these reported activities. Some of the possibilities
have been mentioned here, but there are many more to be explored. I
have no doubt, though, that a huge piece of unlocking the MIS mystery
is finding the puzzle piece of the human mind that may just create the
activity on its own.
