If
you are experiencing paranormal activity, the following guidelines will
help:
1.
Remain calm. This may be hard to do at first, but understand that
most hauntings can be explained with natural phenomena. Even if yours is
a true haunting, most spirits are benevolent in nature and mean you no
harm. They are just trying to get your attention. You can also firmly
tell the spirit that this is your house and that it should move on.
2.
Document your experiences in a detailed manner. Be sure to
record:
The
incident; do not leave out any detail no matter how small you may
think it is. For example, did
you hear any noises? Voices? Did things move on their own? etc.
What
happened just before and leading up to the incident? What made
the incident stop?
Date,
time, and duration of the incident.
Your
feelings. For example, do you feel the spirit was trying to
communicate with you? If so, what do you think the message was?
3.
