Lori
Pablo, CPI
Tampa Chapter Director, Lead Investigator
As the oldest child in a
military family, Lori was born in Denver, Colorado at Fitzsimmons Army
Hospital and later spent several years in the Azores, Portugal. She
and her husband, Larry, have three beautiful children, two sons and a
daughter, one who is autistic. A former transport driver, she
currently works as a receptionist and a service consultant at a local
car dealership.
Lori has always been sensitive and empathic to the spirit world. She
was told by her mother that she experienced unexplained events and
predicted things that later proved to be true. Her great grandmother
was sensitive in a time where is was totally unacceptable to talk
about such things.
Lori is currently working to become a private investigator, and in her
spare time, creates beaded jewelry when not with her family and her
four cats.
Rick
Del Rio, CPI
Case Manager, Investigator
Rick was born and raised
in “Ybor City” (Tampa) Florida. His mother’s family is from Key West
and Cuba and his Great Uncle was one of the lighthouse keepers in Key
West. He is a retired City of Tampa Code Enforcement Supervisor and
retired SMSGT from the Air Force where he specialized in Civil
Engineering. Rick currently is the General Manager for a Tampa
Construction Company doing underground utilities work.
Rick is a HAM (Amateur Radio Operator) and an NRA Instructor
specializing in Gun Safety and Personal Protection. He spends his
weekends as a Rider Coach for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF)
teaching students how to ride motorcycles.
Rick has always been a skeptic until his Mother came back to visit the
family shortly after her death. He is still a “skeptic” but is
becoming more convinced with each occurrence.
Rick loves “gadgets” so the interest in infrared photography has led
to the purchase of an array of cameras and video recorders as well as
EMF meters and voice recorders.

Springfield, Massachusetts but shortly thereafter was transplanted to
the Tampa Bay area where she are her husband (Rick) have 3 grown

knowledge.

a teacher, and works as an event coordinator for a non-profit company.
John and Caroline have found great joy in the supporting one another’s
goals and in helping others.
Mike Burton, CPI
Investigator, Sensitive
Mike was born and raised in Tampa, Fl. and is proud to be a Florida
cracker. He experienced psychic ability as a young child, however, was
told it was his imagination. He temporarily lost contact with his
ability from shutting it out.
After graduation from high school, Mike enlisted in the United States
Air Force, where he was trained as an aircraft maintenance specialist
and obtained his airframe and power plant license. He soon cross trained
out of boredom and became a paramedic and flew as a rescue jumper on an
air search and rescue helicopter, pulling an 18 month tour of duty in
Viet Nam. During this time period, he again experienced a very strong
psychic connection. He continued to turn his back on his ability due to
a lack of understanding as to what was occurring.
After discharge, Mike entered into local law enforcement, and
obtained his Associate of Arts Degree in Police Science and
Administration, and his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology. Mike
retired from law enforcement in Dec.2007, after 35 years of service.
During the 10 years prior to retirement, Mike and his wife Linda,
actively, but secretly, conducted paranormal research. They felt the
need to keep their research secret, fearing their mental health would be
questioned if their employer knew they "see dead people". Mike has a
keen interest in the Native American Culture and is studying the ways of
the Shaman. He is referred to as the "Spirit Horse". He is eagerly
re-connecting to his psychic talents with some degree of success and
realizes that paranormal research is a "calling".
Mike and Linda own and operate the "Heart to Heart Ranch" which is a
horse boarding and training facility , where they live in peace in a
hunted house in Thonotosassa, Fl.
Linda Burton, CPI
Investigator
Linda was born in St. Joseph, Missouri and moved to Tampa, Florida in
1962. She attended Leto High School and went on to nursing school. Due
to having twins, the nursing career was not to be. Linda went on to
become an Environmental Specialist for the Environmental Protection
Commission.
In 1992 Linda became an Auxiliary Deputy, with Hillsborough County
Sheriff's Office, and in 1984 became a full-time Law Enforcement
Officer. She worked as a patrol deputy until 1990 when she was selected
to become a Detective in the Crimes Against Children Unit. In 1995,
Linda started the first Child Death Review Team in Hillsborough County
and was instrumental in forming the first state team. In 1997, she
received the Law Enforcement Officer of the Year award, Outstanding
Performance award, and was the only Law Enforcement officer in the state
to be honored for her work with crime victims by Governor Lawton Chiles.
Linda also worked in Homicide and Recruitment and Screening before
retiring in 2006.
Linda and her husband, Mike, own a horse boarding and training
facility in Thonotosassa. Linda also owns her own custom scrapbooking
business. In her spare time she loves learning new things. Linda is
excited about learning and investigating paranormal activity. She has
had paranormal experiences all her life and she is looking forward to
the new challenges ahead of her.
Sherry McDonald, CPI
Investigator
Sherry grew up in N.J., the oldest of 4 children. Her father was a
police officer and a volunteer fireman, and her mother was a homemaker.
Her mother was of American Indian heritage and was also a Sensitive, but
she did not know much about it at that time. After graduating from high
school Sherry left for the "Big Apple" to work as an IBM keypunch
operator for about two years in Manhattan.
Following her parents on their move to retire in California, she met her
husband and has been married since 1968. She worked for little over a
year as a telephone operator at 29 Palms Marine Base until giving birth
to her first son. She lived near Giant Rock in Joshua Tree, which was
one of the spots with a number of UFO sightings. She did venture there a
few times but no sightings appeared. She is always ready to go in search
of the unknown. Four years later she had twins, a boy and a girl. That
kept her busy raising children from that point on. All her children are
now all grown and she has been blessed with 5 grandchildren.
Before moving to Florida in 2000, her family spent a year in Phoenix
where she took time to explore Sedona and experienced some adventurous
treks to the vortexes. Sherry also studied self-hypnosis with Dick
Sutphen including past life regression, and had some interesting
experiences as a result. She is very connected to her children and has
had some very interesting experiences on several occasions.
She has been dancing for about 5 years and teaching Modern American
Tribal Style Belly Dance for over 2 years. Sherry is a troupe member for
Greater Orlando PURE Dance and a student in African Drum.
She has just completed Level IV Student Practitioner for "Acutonics," a
non-invasive treatment using precision calibrated tuning forks that are
applied to specific acupuncture and acupressure points on the body.
Her hobbies are collecting beads as well as creating costumes and
one-of-a-kind beadwork designs.
Having always had an interest in the paranormal because of personal
experiences, she is very happy to be part of the SPIRITeam.
