| "Triquetra"
(tra'kee-tra) basically means "triangle" and has been
used by many ancient peoples and belief systems over recorded
history. This includes Christianity as well as Paganism.
I use the symbol to
represent three skills that I believe are necessary for one to
reach his/her full potential: Self-Acceptance;
Self-Responsibility; and Respect for Free Will.
Likewise, the
pentacle or pentagram in the center can be traced to all forms of
religion including Christianity and Paganism. Many Christians
incorrectly associate the symbol with Satanism or with the Star of
David from Judaism.
I use the symbol to
represent Self-Completeness.
